Training Workshop Empowers 50 Social Workers in Rwanda
Our latest training session focused on trauma-informed care and community healing practices.
Last week, GLPI successfully conducted a comprehensive training workshop for 50 social workers across Rwanda. The three-day program focused on trauma-informed care, community healing practices, and sustainable peace-building methodologies.
## Workshop Highlights
The training covered essential topics including:
- Understanding trauma and its impact on communities
- Evidence-based healing practices
- Building resilience in post-conflict settings
- Creating safe spaces for community dialogue
## Participant Feedback
"The workshop has transformed how I approach my work with families affected by conflict," shared one participant. "I now have practical tools to help people heal and rebuild their lives."
## Next Steps
We're planning follow-up sessions and ongoing mentorship to ensure the continued success of these social workers in their communities.
