Training Workshop Empowers 50 Social Workers in Rwanda

Our latest training session focused on trauma-informed care and community healing practices.

Last week, GLPI successfully conducted a comprehensive training workshop for 50 social workers across Rwanda. The three-day program focused on trauma-informed care, community healing practices, and sustainable peace-building methodologies. ## Workshop Highlights The training covered essential topics including: - Understanding trauma and its impact on communities - Evidence-based healing practices - Building resilience in post-conflict settings - Creating safe spaces for community dialogue ## Participant Feedback "The workshop has transformed how I approach my work with families affected by conflict," shared one participant. "I now have practical tools to help people heal and rebuild their lives." ## Next Steps We're planning follow-up sessions and ongoing mentorship to ensure the continued success of these social workers in their communities.
